Felony charges for the mentally disabled? Yet, George W. Bush is a free man. Double standard? Only in America, people!
WAKE UP THE MASSES!!! This is Something Clever.
OK, So Who's Retarded Here???
Police in Atlanta, Georgia have charged a 14 year old boy with one felony count of conspiracy to commit terrorism. Here's the fun twist: He's autistic, and his crime was drawing stick figures in class.
Shane Finn has an IQ of about 175, and though he's in the 8th grade, he's only at a third grade level. After getting upset at school this week, he drew stick figures of himself pointing a gun at his teacher. ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME?
OK, I'm not condoning the act. But we're talking about a kid that operates on a third grade level. So take 14 years old and reduce it to about 8. Who is scared of an 8 year old? 8 year olds draw pictures of dragons eating the school or aliens abducting the teacher. That's not called malevolent behavior. It's called being 8 YEARS OLD! Tell him he's not allowed to draw for a week, take away his crayons and call it a day.
And where in the world did they get the "terrorist" nonsense from? Terrorist? REALLY? After the billions of dollars poured into homeland security and the so-called brilliance of the people protecting us, they narrowed down the search for Americas greatest enemies to a 14 year old autistic white kid? You gotta be kidding me! This is an outrage. He's 14! You should be protecting him from Catholic priests, not accusing him of terrorism! The worst part is, the kid really doesn't understand whats going on, and, more than anything, is probably scared out of his mind. Keep in mind, it's against federal law to punish someone who doesn't understand the justice system, and this kid obviously doesn't understand why he's being punished or what he's being punished for. Then again, I've never seen police officers let a little thing like the Constitution get in the way of accomplishing their goal.
They really need to find some common sense and get over it. These are the same people that elected Bush TWICE. They obviously don't have an issue with the mentally handicapped.
iPhone On the Move?
The Apple rumor isn't going anywhere any time soon. The latest news is that Apple has contracted an Australian company to produce 10 million CDMA iPhones. This is significant because CDMA is the network that both Verizon and Sprint run on. At this point, it's inevitable that the iPhone is going to multiple platforms by the end of the year. People are trying to figure out if the phones are for both carriers or just one. Verizon seems to be out of the game since their data network isn't exactly up to snuff. Sprint already has 4G in major metro areas (i.e. Washington D.C., where I live) so they seem to be the front runner as of now. The issue is, Sprint also has a much cheaper data plan than AT&T or Verizon, and thats where Apple likes to make their money. The data plan is going to be an issue. But if Sprint works it out, Apple could take out the Android phones, their main competetor, with one fell swoop. Scary. Yes it is.
That wasn't a joke, you should be very afraid. Between Apple and Google, every move you make is watched. And judged. And Oggled.
Would this be a bad time to mention that this blog is powered and sponsored by Google? AND I, FOR ONE, LOVE EVERYONE AT THAT FINE COMPANY, AND WOULD NEVER TRADE MY ANDROID HERO FOR AN IPHONE! PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!!!!
There's more, but I'm exhausted. I'll try to update over the weekend. Next week, I promise, we're back on schedule. Have a great weekend!
